The other day I made a treat to take to my office Christmas lunch. I have the recipe in my recipe binder but this variation was just right for Christmas. They are Gingerbread Oreo Truffles. Any combination of Oreo and candy coating flavors can be used.
People would never have guessed they were made with Oreos. The only thing that I did differently from the recipe posted on Mommy's Kitchen is that I used a frosting gel in tubes to drizzle on top.
And, because there should be a little kitty love, 2 bad photos. It's a toss up between 'demon eyes' with a flash
or blurry kitties without the flash.
The motivation is that they are together in the same picture. I am amazed at how different they are. I expect it from cats that come into the house at different times, but these guys are brothers who have always been together. Murphy is indifferent to his brother. Cooper likes to know where Murphy is but has his limits. He hasn't ventured into the basement where our family room is. It also took him a long time to leave the end of the house where he was first let out of the carrier. My sewing room is also in the basement. Bet I'll regret wishing he'd explore!
Only 2 days!

It must be such fun getting to know your kitties better--the demon eyes photo is so funny! And those latest goodies look and sound delicious. I had no idea there were gingerbread oreos!
