Anyone with one won't ever ask but others feel free.
They say things like:
What will you ever do with all this?
My answer is usually the same...when the next 40 days and 40 nights of rain come I'll be set.
Who knew it would be put to the test this summer.
I had to get out my flannel night gown and it's too cold for bare feet. I think it will be a non-summer for us this year.
Glad I have my sewing.
Pam
Lol, that's a good one
ReplyDeleteLove the cartoon, just wish it weren't so true! If we get 0.13 inch of rain today - which is a distinct possibility - this will be our highest rain fall for June in recorded history. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had enough dry weather at the right time to finish painting our house! And, I think my toes are beginning to get webbed :-)

ReplyDeleteI get that question all the time from my sons--"Mom, what will you ever do with all these?" They just don't get it--we have to be prepared for any and all circumstances and weather conditions, right??
ReplyDeleteLove that cartoon--I never recall a June this rainy in all my 60 years (boy, am I sounding old!!)...
Over here on the West Coast it is hotter than Hades...and haven't seen rain is so long I forget what it feels like! If only you could send me a little rain, I would gladly send you some sun!! :o))
