Day 25

Tuesday is a hard day to post because of my work schedule.  Throw in an extra early dentist appointment and I'm barely home.  However, I do have photos of the 2 quilts I picked up yesterday.  I've shown them before, prior to taking them for quilting.  Normally I'd prefer to wait until the binding is stitched on, but who knows when that will get done.  It WILL get done, just no guarantees it will happen right away.

First is this cute nautical themed wall hanging. 

Here's a close up of the quilting.  It's done with red, white & blue variegated thread.  I love to use variegated thread. 

The first sailboat block I made looked wrong so I used it on the back.  I didn't like the background fabric with the other blocks. 

The second quilt is a pattern called "Just Can't Cut It".  It was super simple but lets you use some of those big print fabrics you don't want to chop up into small pieces. 

The quilting includes flowers and dragon flies.  Cute with the fabric.  Also, a variegated thread matching the various fabrics. 

Better get moving.
